Le Tableau Parlant
Le Tableau Parlant ("The Talking Picture") is a French comédie-parade (or opéra comique[1], in one act with a libretto by Louis Anseaume (1821-1884)[2] and music by André Grétry (1741–1813)[3].

First performed on 20 September 1769 by the Comédiens Italiens Ordinaires du Roi, at the Hôtel de Bourgogne in Paris. Published by Duchesne in Paris.

1803: Performed in the African Theatre by the Het Fransche Liefhebbery Geselschap under the leadership of C.M. Villet on Saturday 13 August with Toinon et Toinette (Desboulmiers and Gossec).
