Langley Kirkwood (born in England, 1973) [1]. Actor and triathlete.

Training

He studied drama at high school and at Johannesburg's Wits University.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He has appeared in Market Theatre productions of Shooting Billy the Kid, Twelfth Night and Mojo.

Other roles were in Southern Born (1999), Birdy (2000), Death of a Salesman (2001), The Real Inspector Hound, Hello & Goodbye (2010), (The Mechanicals 2011), A Lie of the Mind (2011).

He has also had many television and film roles.

Awards, etc.

Among the acting awards he has won are Vita Award (Gauteng) for his role in Shooting Billy the Kid (most promising new actor, 1997) and the Fleur du Cap Theatre Award as Best Supporting Actor for "Biff" in Miller's Death of a Salesman (2001).
