Laburnum Grove

Laburnum Grove is a suburban murder play in three acts by the British the English novelist, playwright and screenwriter J.B. Priestley [1] (1894-1984).

The play premiered at the Duchess Theatre on 28 November 1933.

In 1936 the play was adapted into a film Laburnum Grove directed by Carol Reed

Performance history in South Africa

Staged by Wensley Pithey at the Standard Theatre starring Siegfried Mynhardt in 1946.

Broadcast on English radio by the Durban studios of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) on either the 1st or 8th November, 1945.
