Dorothy Black (1914–2006), theatrical agent and translator

Wrote under the penname of or Kitty Black. Also known as Noir.

Biography

She was born on 30 April 1914 in Johannesburg, South Africa, the younger daughter and youngest of six children of Francis Black (d. 1918), quantity surveyor, and his wife, Elizabeth Johanna, née Albertyn.


Died 20 (or 26) December 2006 in the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, England.
