Kim Williams

Kim Williams (1972?-2021) filmmaker and -producer.

Born in Cape Town, had his schooling at SACS 1986-1990, then completed a BA in Law () and an MA in Business Administration at the University of Cape Town.


For five years he was in charge of business and legal affairs at DO Productions (June 2005 – October 2015).

A director of the South African Film Academy in Cape Town, and involved with the Young Film Makers' Project


Among the people he worked with are Meg Rickards, Monica Rorvik, Seton Bailey

An avid and hiker, he died in an accidental fall during a hike on Table Mountain on 27 February, 2021.
