K. Sello Duiker

K. Sello Duiker (1974-2005) [1] was an award-winning South African novelist. He was also a commissioning editor for the SABC. His first novel, Thirteen Cents was published in 2000 by David Philip Publishers and his second and last novel The Quiet Violence of Dreams was awarded the Herman Charles Bosman Prize for English literature [2] in 2002 and was also adapted for the stage by Ashraf Johaardien. Duiker committed suicide in 2005.
