Just So Stories

Just So Stories can refer to several stage versions of the Just So Stories for Little Children - a 1902 collection of origin stories by the British author Rudyard Kipling.

a 1977 adaptation by Pat Orpen for Rhodes University Department of Speech and Drama
a 1979 adaptation presented by students of the Maas-Phillips College of Speech and Drama.
a 1986 stage play version devised by Joyce Levinsohn and Jill Girard.

Production history in South Africa

1977: Presented by students of the Rhodes University Drama Department, adapted and directed by Pat Orpen.

1979: Presented at the Nico Malan Theatre Complex by students of the Maas-Phillips College of Speech and Drama under the auspices of CAPAB.

1986: Presented by Children's Theatre Productions at the Zoo's Old Elephant House in Johannesburg, directed by Joyce Levinsohn and Jill Girard.
