The original text
Written as an exercise for a playwriting course in the Drama Department at Stellenbosch University, it is an Afrikaans one-act play about suicide by a schoolboy, a stage adaptation of the song Jeremy by Pearl Jam[1].
The text is unpublished. A copy of the typed text found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department's theatre archives and now held in the Performing Arts Research Collection (PARC) at the Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation, with offices at Pieter Okkers House, 7 Joubert Street, Stellenbosch, South Africa.
