Biography
She had her schooling at Risidale Primary School (1967 - 1970) and Northcliff High School (1971 - 1975), where her activities included Debating, Drama, Netball, Public Speaking, Modern Dancing, Drum Majorettes, Pipe Bands (Pipe Major). She was Honoured with the Magna Cum Laude Award and Optimus Omnium.
She then went on to a career in management, marketing and media liaison, working in a variety of fields, notably also in theatre.
She married actor and impressario Richard Loring in 1983 and they have two daughters, Samantha Loring and Natasha Loring, both active in the entertainment industry.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She began working as a skin care consultant in 1973, for a time working as a model as well (1976 - 1985), before entering the theatre industry in 1983 as an administrator and later a director of Richard Loring Productions, where her portfolio including Marketing and Media Liaison for Loring's Sound Stage (May 1989 - Dec 2006 17).
In 2011 she and Loring became co-proprietors of the boutique guest house, 185 on Beach in Gordon's Bay, also doing Marketing and Media Liaison for the Gordon's Bay Business Forum.
