Born Johannes Hendrik Naudé in 1912.

His prose works include Carino Cate (1945), Die jong vrou van Krakou (1949) and Die bittere vrug (1956).

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

In later years he began writing plays, including the one-act play Die Wewenaar ("The widower"), published by DALRO in 1982, Die Lokval: 'n blyspel in vier bedrywe (("The trap": a comedy in four acts), Die Knyper ("the pincher") published by DALRO in 1990.
