An arts project of K-CAP (Kwa Mashu Community Advancement Projects), the festival runs for 3 days towards the end of November, and is presented in a competition format to showcase over 40 Kwazulu-Natal community drama groups. The festival provides for feedback from industry experts and is seen as an opportunity for the artists and groups to be seen by theatre directors, arts development projects and festival organizers for further opportunities.
