The Henri van Wyk Geselskap (the "Henri van Wyk Company") was a touring Afrikaans theatrical company, founded in 1932 by the actor and playwright Henri van Wyk. The first production was the Biblical drama Koningin Esther, written by Van Wyk himself. The cast consisted of among others Lena Cronjé, Aletta Gericke and Kosie Gericke* Its tour was initially dogged by accident, the lead actress almost drowning at Herold's Bay, and later a motor accident befalling them. *
