Granite by Clemence Dane, pseudonym of Winifred Ashton (1888-1965) an English novelist and playwright. First produced on Broadway 1927. Performed at the Standard Theatre, by the Johannesburg Repertory Players in 1944, featuring Taubie Kushlick, Henry Gilbert, Sheila Osrin, Bruce Meredith Smith, directed by L. McD. Robinson.
