Going Home the photographic project
The project
According to photographer Paul Weinberg, he andSantu Mofokeng embarked on a photographic project called Going Home in 1986-1989. He says that it was first shown at anti-apartheid Zabalaza Festival in 1988, then at the Tatham Gallery in Pietermaritzburg in 1989/1990 and at the Canon Gallery in Amsterdam in the early 1990s.

2000: Presented by the Cape Town Theatre Laboratory in association with Artscape from 31 October to 11 November 2000 at the Nico Arena directed by Royston Stoffels the Lab performers Liezel Jansen, Philiswa Jako, Melanie Nielson, Olga Makwetu and Patrick Makatesi as part of Collaborations 2000.
