Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He toured to South Africa with his company, named George Walton's New English Musical Comedy Company.
He produced A Chinese Honeymoon at the Theatre Royal, Cape Town (February 1901). He directed Cinderella at the Theatre Royal, Durban (1902) and Dick Whittington and his Cat at the Theatre Royal, Durban ( December 1902 - January 1903) and at the Gaiety Theatre, Johannesburg (April 1903).
