He reviewed plays in for the Cape Times during the 1970s.
He wrote versions of Dick Whittington (1946) and Cinderella (1973).
Legacy
The Geoffrey Tansley Cup, is awarded for the Best Actor in a Play annully during the Amateur Theatre Awards in Cape Town.
