("Broken Wires" or "Broken Fences" - Afrikaans) by J.R.L. van Bruggen (born 1895). A play about **. First produced by the K.A.T. in 1936, directed by Marguerite I. Murray with Renée du Plessis, A.M. Burger and others. (Two acts from this production were entered for and won the first prize in the 1936 Eisteddfod in Cape Town.) Produced by the Krugersdorp Municipal Dramatic and Operatic Society in 1938 as part of the society's Voortrekker Festival programme. Published by the Potchefstroom Herald circa 1935.
