Dance Indaba
Dance Indaba is a festival of of new South African contemporary choreography and dance presented in Cape Town.
Also called FNB Vita Dance Indaba after its sponsor (First National Bank/FNB) and founder (Vita Promotions).
Similar events have been held in other centres in South Africa, including:

- Dance Kopano (Bloemfontein)

History
1999
The FNB Dance Indaba took place at the main theatre at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town from July 21 to July 25, featuring Boyzie Cekwana and the Floating Outfit Project as the guest company.
2002
The FNB Vita Dance Indaba 2002 ran at The Baxter Theatre Centre from September 11 to 15.
One of the programmes included an invited work that also first appeared on the FNB Vita Dance Umbrella 2002 called Ja, Nee choreographed by Durban-based choreographer, Boyzie Cekwana. Also included was a performance of Rhythm Colour by Standard Bank Young Artist Award Winner Gregory Maqoma. This work premiered earlier in 2002 at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown.
