Elizabeth Conradie (1903-1939)[1] was a cultural historian, author, lecturer and literary adviser to theatre companies.

Often referred to by her full title as Dr Elizabeth Conradie or Dr Elizabeth Möller Conradie, as she was one of the earliest Afrikaans speaking women to obtain a doctorate.

In 1933 she completed a doctorate in cultural history at the University of Amsterdam on Dutch writers from South Africa. Published by J.H. de Bussy/H.A.U.M. in two volumes as Hollandse skrywers uit Suid-Afrika. 'n Kultuur-historische studie, with Part One (1652-1875)[2] appearing in 1834 and Part 2 (1875-1905)[3] appearing posthumously in 1949.
