Double Act

Double Act is a comedy written by Australian actor and playwright Barry Creyton [1] (born 1939).

The original text

Creyton and Noeline Brown starred in the original production which opened in September 1987 to universal critical acclaim and broke all box office records for the Ensemble Theatre.

Translations and adaptations

Since then, Double Act has been produced in more than twenty languages.

Performance history in South Africa

1988: Presented by Shirley Firth and Christopher Seabrooke in association with PACT at the Windybrow and later at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, directed by Joan Brickhill, starring Clive Scott and Erica Rogers.
