Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
David has performed in a wide variety of roles on stage and screen since he took up acting in 1980. Theatre credits include Asinamali by Mbongeni Ngema and The Load by Gibson Kente. He appeared in Komeng at the National Arts Festival in 2000.
Highlights from his television career include Africa P.I., Generations, Deafening Silence and Suburban Bliss. He also featured in films such as Unseen Enemy and Kini and Adams.
