Danny Kaye (19*-) [1]. American actor, singer and comedian.
The son of Russian Jewish immigrants. A stand-up comic who dazzled broadway in the Straw Hat Revue.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
ACT booked him to play in Johannesburg in 1954.
