The original text
The play problematises interactions between black and white citizens by exploring multiracialism from an Africanist perspective. The play’s theme suggests that the shift in the socio-political terrain from exclusive political power by whites and increasing political assertiveness by blacks, could only lead to “problems” in everyday social interaction.
