Corné Joubert is a teacher, an artist and part time writer.
She studied fine art at the University of Pretoria, then became a teacher, entrepreneur and artist.
She began writing on a part time basis in 2012, writing and producing a number of plays, including Melusine van Arcadia (Woordfees and Aardklop), which was then reworked as a short film for the KYKNet Silwerskermfilmfees ("silver screen festival") in 2015. Other texts include Broei (2018),
Sy has also worked as an artist on the film project Lilith(2015)
