Circumstantial Evidence! is a comic piece in one act by R. Carew.
Also described, in the style of the times as "a laughable farce" in some cases.
The original text
The text apparently first published 1851.
Little can as yet be found about first performance the play itself or about the author, though an advert on 4 May 1853 in The Empire, Sydney, for performance in the Royal Victoria Theatre does list the characters and cast, and confirm that it was a more widely performed play at the time.
