C.R. Swart (1894-1982) [1]. Politician.
A Supporter of General Hertzog and a founder member of the National Party, he became Governor General of the Union and later the first President of the Republic of SA from 1961 to 1967.
As a young man he visited America and acted as cowboy in early westerns.
