Celebrate Durban Festival
The Celebrate Durban Festival is an annual event celebrating the city of Durban.
Usually simply referred to as Celebrate Durban, also known Halala Ethekwini.
The Festival
Commencing in 2001, the festival offers a broad-based and wide-ranging series of events celebrating the city of Durban during September. (For example, in 2010 the festival hosted approximately 45 eclectic and participative events during the one month.)
In a broader context Durban's whole annual festival season throughout the year. This also includes events like the Durban Street Food Festival[1], the Durban Diwali Festival[2], the Durban Innovation Festival[3], the Durban Dessert Festival[4], the Innovation Festival[5] and the Anywhere Festival[6].
