Carol Behane

BEHANE, Carol (1977- ), real name Zenzile Behane, sometimes credited as Carol Selepe. A South African actress (mostly television). Best known for the role of Lebo Sibiya in the SABC1 drama series Zone 14. Fluent in Zulu, English, Sotho and Tswana.

Theatre productions include: Sister Plus; Mama's Love (directed by Gibson Kente); Mfowethu (directed by Gibson Kente); Umkhaya Lo; Woman in Spirit; Bound by Love; Things We Do (when we are bored).

Television roles include: Portia Mohapi (in Secret Lovers, an hour-long drama written and directed by Vusi Twala, aired on E.tv in 2009 as part of eKasi: Our Stories; Sheila (in Chicken Murder); Mapule (in Boomba & TT); Sheila (in eKasi: Our Stories); Palesa (in eKasi: Our Stories; Ntokozo (in Home Affairs); Maria (in Moferefere Lenyalong); Detective Thabethe (in Mtunzini.com); Busi (in Stokvel); Ma Mza (in Yizo Yizo); Lebo Sibiya (in Zone 14).
