First performed at the Royal Olympic Theatre, London, on 20 November, 1862 and published by T.H. Lacy, London, 1862.

1867: Performed in the Theatre Royal in Harrington Street, Cape Town, by the Le Roy and Duret Company, with The Maid with the Milking Pail (Buckstone) on 3 October.
