Also referred to simply as Bioskoopm this is an online platform founded on 13 March 2015 by Rick Bronkhorst. The purpose of the website is to publish and release news, reviews and video interviews about the South African film industry. The website focuses on feature films that are released at traditional cinemas or on well-known streaming services. Although Bioskoop's focus is on Afrikaans films, films in English and other South African languages are also covered from time to time.
