Behind Time is a farce in one act by Benjamin Nottingham Webster Jnr (1797–1882)[1].

Performed at the Adelphi Theatre, London, on 26 December 1865.

Published by Thomas Hailes Lacy as Lacy's Acting Edition no.1016 and as no. 709.in 19th Century British drama.

Performance history in South Africa

1866: Performed at the Theatre Royal in Harrington Street, Cape Town, by the Le Roy and Duret company on 3 September, with Plot and Passion (Taylor and Lang).

1866: Performed by the Le Roy-Duret Company in the Theatre Royal, Harrington Street, Cape Town, on 5 and 10 September, with a "Highland Fling and Broad Sword Dance" by Herr Luin and and a production of Governor van Noot, or Things as They Were (Utting).
