Barbara Masekela

Barbara Masekela (born 1941) [1]. Political activist

Leading member of the ANC, she was made deputy Minister of Arts and Culture in the first cabinet of transitional government. Appointed Amabassador to France in 1995.

He brother was the musician Hugh Masekela.
