Quoted from the Roll Over Beethoven programme notes in ****: 'Arthur, who comperes the show, started playing the piano and singing in the church choir as a very young boy. In 1987, he joined the musical District Six and went to Scotland in 1988 to perform at the Edinburgh Festival. He began his solo career as a one-man band in 1990, playing at most of the local venues for three years before joining Poison, a David Kramer and Taliep Petersen production which was taken to Malaysia in 1995. Arthur has also appeared in Great Pretenders, Station 70, Motown Jo and various other productions for children's theatre and television. Arthur's extraordinary vocal ability and keyboard skills have made it possible for him to compose some wonderful music of his own which he hopes to release within the next year.'
