Desmond Tutu (1931- ) is a South African Anglican bishop and human rights activist who rose to worldwide fame during the 1980s as an opponent of apartheid and later Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

He did the voice of "Baba" in the 2011 animated film Jock the Hero Dog (credited as Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu)
