Amajuba: Like Doves We Rise
Through song, dance, narrative and performance the play tells the true stories of five black individuals who grew up in South Africa during the dying days of apartheid. They tell their stories in an attempt to put the past behind them and to move forward into a better future.

Staged by Arc Productions and Mmabana Arts Foundation toured through England in 2003 after opening at the Oxford Playhouse in June, directed by Yael Farber, with Tshallo Tshokwe, Wendy Sokhupa, Phillip Tipo Tindisa, France Conradie and Jabulile Tshabalala.
Staged by the Culture Project in the the Lynn Redgrave Theater in New York City in 2006, directed by Yael Farber, with Tshallo Tshokwe, Roelf Matlala, Bongeka Mpongwana, Phillip Tipo Tindisa and Jabulile Tshabalala.
