African Theatre Association
The African Theatre Association is an international society founded in 2006, and is open to scholars and practitioners of African performance and theatre. Its primary aim, through its annual conferences, is to be a forum for the exploration of African performance and theatre processes.

African Performance Review
AfTA publisheds the African Performance Review, a peer-reviewed triennial journal dedicated to publishing, disseminating and encouraging high quality research and information on theatres and performance in Africa and the African Diaspora.
For three years (2007-2009) published by Adonis and Abbey, thereafter by AfTA itself. (See the website: http://adonisandabbey.com/show_journal1.php?list_journals=4)
