A one-act radio play by Douglas Livingstone (1932-1996).

The play offers a sharp satire on the sterility and insensitivity of academia. Originally written for radio and broadcast by the SABC in 1974, produced by Stephen Barden.

Won the Olive Schreiner Prize in 1975.
