A popular South African radio detective series.

No seeming relationship beyond the street name with the films The Man in Half Moon Street (1945) and Half Moon Street (1985) based on the novel Doctor Slaughter by Paul Theroux.

A series about "Assignments Unlimited", a detective firm, with offices at 33 Half Moon Street, London. Originally written by Adrian Steed and later by Douglas Laws.

Broadcast history in South Africa

The 58 episodes ran from 1965 to 1966 on Springbok Radio (SABC). Starred Michael Todd, an extremely popular actor in South Africa, in the lead as the detective Aubrey Mason.
