'n Saak het twé kante, of Samenspraak tussen Jan Aangeneem en Klaas Afgesê, o'er Sarie Takhaar
("A case has two sides, or Dialogue between Jan Accepted and Klaas Turned-down, over Sarie Backvelder") by AV (pseudonym of A.G. Visser) A sketch written by the later well-known poet while a student at the Hugenote Gedenkschool in Paarl. (c.a. late 1890s). It was performed as ‘’My nooi se naam is Sarie Takhaar’’ ("My girlfriend's name is Sarie Backvelder") by the C.J.V Warmwater in 1907.
