Phillip de Bruyn (1926-). South African poet, composer, playwright.

He worked in the advertising industry.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He wrote the plays One Friday in Jerusalem, The Scent of Darkness (1965) and Give Me Besides My Daily Bread (published Durban: Blake, 1967).

He wrote a radio play entitled The Waiting Room.
