Umongikazi: The Nurse by Maishe Maponya. A play about the racism and incompetence in hospitals and makes a call for unionization. First performed at the Market Theatre in 1983. Toured Britain and Germany in the same year. Published in Doing Plays for Change: Five Works (Ed by Ian Steadman), 1995. Also published in Four Plays by Zakes Mda; in Black South African Women: An Anthology of Plays by Wits University Press.
