Trevor Peters (1967-) is a sound technician.

Biography

He attended Roosevelt High School (1981 - 1985), then started as an Industrial Psychology student at the University of the Witwatersrand. However, his love for music drew him into the world of sound engineering and sound design.

Founder of Matrix Corporate & Theatre Sound, a partner in Pan Tilt Lighting and a partner in Fogtech Video, he has designed sound for theatre shows and corporate events both locally and internationally for over twenty years, working in South Africa, the UK (West End), Australia and the USA.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He designed the sound for numerous productions, inter alia Play@Risk, The Sleeping Beauty (2015), Jock of the Bushveld, Fiddler on the Roof (2007).

Awards, etc

Has won a Naledi Award for sound design.
