The Flashing Stream by English-born playwright and novelist Charles Morgan (1894-1958)[1].


The original text

A play about mental absolutism. First produced in England in 1938 and published by Macmillan & Co in the same year.

South African productions

1943: First produced in South Africa in 1943 by the Johannesburg Reps, directed by Muriel Alexander, starring Sydney Witkin and Minna Schneier.

1956: Produced by National Theatre Organisation in 1956, with Margaret Inglis, Robert Lang and John Hussey, directed by Inglis.
