Talking Heads is a stage adaptation [1] of the BBC series [2] of six monologues written by English playwright, screenwriter, actor and author Alan Bennett (born 1934) [3].

Performance history in South Africa

1993: Performed at the National Arts Festival Fringe, 1993, starring Fiona Ramsay, Graham Hopkins. Presented by Troupe Theatre Company.

2000: Vera Clare and Greig Coetzee performed two of the monologues at the Hexagon Theatre, directed by Peter Mitchell, July 2000.
