Ster Theatres

Ster Films built and owned cinemas and venues throughout South Africa.

Later amalgamated with Kinekor to become Ster-Kinekor

At some of their venues, they presented ice-shows and backed theatre oproductions. The Brickhill-Burke production of Holiday Spectacular was staged at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre on 13 February 1975 as the first show open to Coloureds and Indians. ****
