Samoerai is a play written in Afrikaans by Schalk Schoombie.

A play about matric boys, based on the Samurai video game.

Runner up for the ANGLO-GOLD ASHANTI PRIZE (Aardklop-Smeltkroes) won by Reza de Wet's Blou Uur.

Performance history in South Africa

Premiered at Aardklop 2008. Produced by GZ Productions, directed by Ilse van Hemert, with Andrew Thompson (Org), gang members Dawid Louw (Frits), Albert de Villiers (Stanley), Altus Theart (Victor), [[[Marcel van Heerden]] (Org's father, Christo), Deon Coetzee (Frits's father, Albert), Zane Meas (Cois) and Nicola Hanekom (Anna).
