Protea Boekhuis ("Protea book house") is a South African publishing house, with a high-quality list.

Founder and managing director Dr. Nicol Stassen and Publishing Manager Izak de Vries.

They publish widely, their list including non-fiction, fiction, children’s books, youth novels, poetry, plays.
