A musical comedy with book by Jay Thompson, Marshall Barer and Dean Fuller, music by Mary Rogers, lyrics by Marshall Barer. The play was written as an adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Princess and the Pea.

Performance history in South Africa

1967: Presented by the Labia Theatre directed by Mavis Taylor in January 1967 starring Valerie Miller and a large cast including Graham Clarke, Janice Honeyman, Joyce Bradley, Alan Prior, Peter Uys and many others. Musical supervision by Michael Tuffin, musical director Dave Galloway, dances choreographed by Reneé Ricca. Mavis Lilenstein was the stage manager.
