Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mamma's Hung You in the Closet and I'm Feelin' So Sad is a 1963 play by American playwright Arthur L. Kopit (born 1937)[1].

Sometimes also referred to as Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mama's Hung You in the Closet and I'm Feeling So Sad in other English-speaking countries, including South Africa.

Translations and adaptations

Translated into Afrikaans as Ag Pa, Arme Pa, Ma het Jou in die Kas Gehang, Dis Daarom wat ek Kla by Aart de Villiers and Don Lamprecht in 1982.

Performance history in South Africa

1965: John Mitchell directed a production in the original English by the University of Cape Town's University Dramatic Society at the Little Theatre in May.
