Mr Aldridge (fl. mid 19th century) was a Cape Town resident and amateur performer.

Biography

According to Groom he apparently died in a cottage

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He was a founding member of the Cape Town Theatrical Club (later to become the Cape Town Dramatic Club) in 1857 or 1858. He specialised in ballet performances and excelled in female roles.
